PT22 Welcome to Portugal

First, all the students of all the partner schools of the ERASMUS + project met in the auditorium of the host city. The school of Vieira do Minho took the floor and welcomed all participants. Secondly, the students of each school introduced themselves and presented the culture, history, heritage, customs of their country in general and their city in particular. This presentation was interspersed with dance and song performances by students from each participating country. Thirdly, all participants presented their school and its operation. Finally, the host school invited the participants to a buffet of local specialties (octopus, cod, shrimp fritters, kale soup, chicken fritters and local desserts). These specialties were prepared by the school's cooking class.

Students throughout the Legacy program learned about themselves and overcame their fear of public speaking. All participants learned about specific cultures and customs.
