IT23 Il Cammino del Po and Local woods « Golena del Po”

This project was born from the idea of a group of friends who are passionateabout sports, and in particular walking, sensitive to the issue of inclusion and environmental sustainability and fascinated by local tourism

The Symbol is the little snail which means indicating the slow passage, respectful of the surrounding environment and the territory; the colors green, blue and brown because of typical colors of the Po Valley and of the environment surrounding the large river.
The "Cammino del Po" is a project that uses "walking" as a tool to convey a series of messages in line with the action program for sustainabledevelopment of Agenda 2030.

Walking as a laboratory of skills

The physical benefits of walking are to Improve posture and balance, have a weight control, beneficial action on muscles and bones. It has positive effects on blood circulation and heart and develop strengthens the immune system with slows down the cellular aging process
Students had tour along the Po where italian students explained the biodiversity (plants and animals) of the place. Pupils agres totally with the ideathat walking is good for mind, for soul, for the spirit and totally reconciliation with the nature especially with friends.
