During exchanges aerobics sessions were organized to develop the motor skilss of both Italian and foreign students. The activity was very useful to integrate students and reinforce self- confidence as the students from the participating countries had to perform in front of the others. During the session, they organised geometric forms, choreographies of  Italian students were promoted to prepare the farewell party on Friday. The students learnt to compose and perform a collective choreography, selecting means of composition and original and various body motions. Then, they discussed with their partners, created and performed  a meaningful dance, with a song from their country, where all the dancers pay attention to each other and concerned with their performance in front of an audience. It took them two hours to create the reproduction, taking minimum risk as far as difficulty was concerned. Then, as spectators, the teachers enjoyed the quality of the performance and applause the originality of the collaboration. 

The choreographies were composed  during periods of 120 minutes. The dancers used different effects: opposed speed, opposed energy,  group structures (geometrical forms,  cluster and splitting up,  different directions, mirror effect, question and answer effect,…), time and space relationship (starts moved forward or backward, heights differences, accordance, stunts, repetition,…)  and  original sudden or/and visual effects (porté, fall, noise, freeze frame…).

The dozen of groups with various skills produced very rich and diverse performances. The ability to dance boosts their self-esteem and facilitates integration. The idea of dance for fun was really the main topic of these moments.

Everyone enjoyed the activity, did some sport and also had pleasure. Students and teachers learnt many little choreographies. After some lovely and more complex activities, pupils learnt to dance typical choregraphy of each country and of course everybody had great fun. Teachers and students played the game, realized that doing some physical exercise is always good for their health, no matter what that physical exercise that is.
