FR23 How to rescue the dunes
01 févr. 2023In order to discover more information about the dunes students were given a link to a „geocaching” app created by the maths teacher. They worked in groups to find thei way by answering the questions about biodiversity of thr area.
The second activity was a guide of walk of the dunes with local park ranger. He discussed both the history of dunes and the flora and fauna of the dunes.
The third activity involved students pulling up a plant that is toxic to the local animals. Students worked together in groups and managed to fill about 25 bags per group.
Students took in new informations about how we walk can use our understanding of the issues that we face in protectingour planet and how the plants can help with this.
Students were familiar with the app. They solved the problem together so that they understand the sence of collaboration.
