SP23 Barcelona Skyline
01 juin 2023Guided by a teacher, they had to relate information about the main facilities and sculptures created for the Olympic games with some images. The presentation of the city was about the steps that led to the Olympic Games, even though Barcelona is not the capital and was lagging behind in its development following the years of Franco's rule. Spain joined the European Union in 1986. This enabled the city to embark on major construction projects, such as the Palau San Jordi, created for the Olympic Games. Montjuic, where some of the infrastructure for the Olympic Games is concentrated, used to be a park. Roads and buildings had to be built. Thanks to the Olympic Games, Barcelona has become a very attractive tourist destination. After that, in a map of Barcelona the students had to place each of the images. They could use the ICT to help themselves. The activity was carried out in pairs (Catalan-French)
Thanks to this activity, the student went aware of the impact of the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992 and they were able to locate the main infrastructures and events.
