It's the city of Copernic and the capital of gingerbread! We visited the city (beautiful old city), ate in a neko coffee (coffee with a lot of cats ), went to the museum of gingerbread and made gingerbread”. “with my host family i went to Toruń; it is the city of the scientist Copernicus. With them we visited the house of the scientist, it is a museum now. I liked this activity while i don't like museum. After that idiscovered the city and is church. Next we went to the restaurant Manekin I ate pancake with bolognaise”. “my host family and I went to a old city which is called « Toruń ». It was very nice city because there are a lots of things to discover, like the Copernic house. It was also amazing because we got together with some people from my class and their correspondents. And we discovered the famous gingerbread recipe because we went to a museum of the fabrication of gingerbread where we can found an event which explain how to create a gingerbread. So we did one per person. The most impressive thing was the the leaning tower of Torun which is a medieval building and when we went next to the building, it was scary because we had the impression that it was going to fall”. “I went to an aquapark with my correspondent, his sister and his dad, it was genial !”
The students spend the free time with their correspondent’s family, so they can compare the free time in France and in Poland. They have to communicate with the members of the family, so the communication is led in English, in French and the students have the opportunity to know some words in Polish language.
