THE EUROPEAN CITIZENS OF TOMORROW

First, the students were divided into groups of 3 or 4 and chose a topic related to the European Union: a common history, democratic values, symbols, institutional representation, linguistic richness, the contribution of ancient languages and cultures, artistic and cultural diversity, economic identity, education for sustainable development, a European educational area, euroscepticism and europhobia, Dunkirk, a European city. After researching their topic, they had to create posters and present an exhibition entitled "The European citizens of tomorrow" in the hall of the school.

Then, they worked more specifically on European youth and created posters where they had to compare the youth in France to that of a European country of their choice (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden). They also presented a second exhibition entitled "Young people in Europe" based on 4 topics : Europe and me, young people in Europe, being a young woman in the EU, Erasmus through the years.

On the occasion of the Erasmus Days, the students exhibited their work in the hall of the school for all the students. They explained to them in their mother tongue the posters they had made in English.
