Hélène Cortin, a French rower , Olympic medalist and two-time world champion and Olivier Lyoen, bronze medal in the 2014 Almere-Amsterdam ETU Challenge Long Distance Triathlon European Championships  were the  athletes that had been invited to talk about their experiences and answer to some questions made by the students  in the room. Two of the French students translated the conversation with the two athletes . It was referred that taking part in  high level competitions involves hard work and discipline, but it is also a state of mind. The barriers and discrimination that still exist regarding a various number of situations have to be broken down and eliminated.  They were very proud to be part of the sports history of France and the world.

The sportsmanship while developing social skills and make bounding friendships are  meaningful  cornerstones for our students. But it was also said that the aim of the Olympic Movement is to build a peaceful and better world through sport and the Olympic ideal, without discrimination of any kind; recognizing that the Olympic ideal cannot be fully achieved without gender equality and total acceptance of everyone. These are all lessons in life.
