FR23 CC - Sustainable Development programs as politicians
12 nov. 2023French and Swedish students were grouped together to create a political party focused on sustainable development. Each group named their party, developed a slogan, designed a logo, and drafted a charter of 10 commitments for a sustainable society. This process involved collaborative brainstorming and creativity.
After conceptualizing their parties, the students created posters displaying their party's name, slogan, logo, and key commitments. These posters were then presented to the other groups, allowing each team to share their vision and approach to sustainability.
The activity concluded with a vote, where students evaluated and selected the party that best aligned with their views on sustainable development, simulating a democratic decision-making process.
The groups, a mix of both nationalities, demonstrated effective collaboration and creativity throughout the process. Each group successfully named their party, formulated a compelling slogan, designed a distinctive logo, and drafted a charter outlining their commitments to sustainable development.
The culmination of their efforts was evident in the posters they created, which showcased the identity and values of their respective parties. These posters, displayed for all participants, highlighted the students' creative abilities and their understanding of the exercise's objectives.
The voting session reflected the success of the creative work but also underscored the engagement with the principles of sustainable development and the democratic process. The was in general marked by enjoyment and creativity and successfully met its educational goals.
