By watching the movie, it is intended that students get motivated and inspired by the main character’s attitude and fight.  The benefit of watching a movie leads to an increase of self motivation to be solid and inflexible in dealing with problems.The students meet at the Studio 43 and they watch the movie „How to blow a pipeline”, an environmentalistaction thriller. Then a cultural mediator followed a debate based on the film, on students’ reactions, reflections and opinions. The students could express their opinions and feelings after the movie. The students can discover the eco- thriller. They are followed to do some reflections on the problem  of activism and terrorism. They discussed on  the legitimacy of extreme action during the climate crisis. They considered the question of commitment and radicalisation of the environmental movement.

Beyond entertainment, movies can provide a different view, a different perspective about the issues in the film. 

 

The students are aware of the ecological emergency. They reflected on the solution to the problem. They get the knowledge of the difference between the activism and terrorism.
