LT26 DC Student Introduction Videos – Technology & Cultural Identity

At the beginning of the mobility, students prepare and share short introduction videos (up to 5 minutes) focusing on the theme of technology and the presentation of their country. Working individually or in small national groups, students introduce themselves, their country, region, city, their school, and highlight how technology influences daily life, education, or society in their country.

The videos are presented to the group and followed by informal discussions, allowing students to compare technological habits, digital tools, and cultural perspectives. This activity helps create a welcoming atmosphere and encourages curiosity and openness from the very start.

Smartphones, apps you use daily / ⁠Social media & communication / Online shopping, e-payments / ⁠Smart devices (watches, smart home)

2.⁠ ⁠Technology at school: Examples: Show real lessons, not only theory.

Digital textbooks, tablets, laptops / ⁠Interactive boards, online platforms (Teams, Google Classroom, Moodle) / AI tools, simulations, learning apps / How teachers and students use tech daily

3.⁠ ⁠Technology in your city: Examples: Short clips from streets work really well here.

Public transport apps/ Electric buses, bike sharing/ Smart traffic lights, sensors / City apps (parking, tickets, services)

4.⁠ ⁠Technology of the future: 

*What technologies will be important in 10–20 years?

*AI, green tech, smart cities

*What would you like to see in your city or school?

We finish the activity with a comparaison between the two countries, cities and how we use technology with a kahoot

The school was closed because of cold weather (-27 degrees). After the introduction on Zoom, students participate in icebreaking virtual activity. It was a bit strange and we remember the covid period. They enjoyed really the competition Kahoot about the mobility in Dunkirk, and about the city of Kaunas
