Hector and Andromache : model couple or cursed couple ?
27 juil. 2022Students researched the couple in three spheres :
-from a mythological point of view : they had to present their origins, their character and select some biographical elements
-from a literary point of view : they had to select a text (French or translation) on Hector, a text (French or translation) on Andromache and a text (French or translation) featuring the couple, present the author and the work from which each text was taken and identify the characteristics of the character(s)
-from an artistic point of view (painting, vase, photograph...) : they had to select an image representing Hector, an image representing Andromache and an image representing the couple, indicate the sources of each image (period/date, artist, title) and describe each of the characters.
Students compiled their research on the characters of Hector and Andromache into a slide show that they presented to the class orally, in French or English.
