FR23 PSLL - Certificates and Farewell Party
12 nov. 2023The farewell dinner took place in the school. Principal of the school thanks the families for participating and the coordinator. The students who had participated in projects and Erasmus classes gave a speech talking about theirexperiences during Erasmus’ projects. We could taste typical food of the region, and share good moments with music.
Each student has received a certificate of mobility. After the principal’s and coordinator speeches about the importance of Erasmus+ a party took place. We tasted typical food of the region, and share good moments with music. A buffet of salt and sweet pies was served and was followed by a party with a DJ. In the Hall of the lycée Jean Bart, involved students from College Boris Vian, our Lycee with their parents and teachers were welcome..
This moment was really delightful, every student worked hard during the week especially with many communication, every present person learned a lot about different systems, schools, cultures and each one could pick up some good ideas to increase our education.
The farewell dinner was very emotional, warm hearted and generous. The students spent last moments with their friends and had a good time. They took a lot of pictures and videos, to remember the learning mobility in Dunkirk. They all felt well in hosting families and their knowledge about history, geography and culture of France. At the end of a week full of activities and visits what remains is a learning experience based on trust, friendship and respect for others, in addition to cultural and social learning. It’s always important that the students bear in mind that to contribute to solidarity and mutual respect between peoples will help to build a strong and peaceful Europe. Together we are stronger!
All involved (students, teachers and parents) in the project could feel not only an informative but also a sparkling finale of the week. Parents could take part in the students’ work thanks to the very nice exhibition. We could all celebrate by eating and dancing, a very appreciated finale. A great opportunity to promote friendship, citizenship and equality.
