PL24 PSLL - “Anything we can’t do forever is by definition unsustainable”
24 févr. 2024Students, working in groups, prepare a scene to act out. They present two selected problems among :
overpopulation
cutting down rainforests for palm plantations
cutting down rainforests causing destruction of the animal's habitat
destroying the oceans
regulation of water systems
exploitation of fossil energy sources
development of fertile lands into arable fields
breeding animals for human food
killing the population of wild animals
excessive CO2 production causing melting of glaciers and loss of ecological balance
human activity that poses a threat to biodiversity and their proposal for changing behaviour that can help restore biodiversity on Earth.
Students play the scenes without words, the speaker's task is to comment and explain what is happening on stage.
This activity enables them to have fun at the same time.
