LT26 CC App Prototype Creation

The session starts with a quick Kahoot for the French students to ask them about the visit made the day before to Vilnius.

In this workshop, students design an app prototype focused on contemporary issues.

Working in international teams, they define the app’s purpose, target audience, and main functions.

Students have to propose a future teen application which should be operationnal in 2035, so 10 years later.

This application must be AI-based, focused on global problems, support mental health, use perhaps virtual reality.

Problems proposed are :

1) improving learning and study skills

2) building social connections and reducing loneliness

3) online safety and digital self-protection 

4) sustainbility and eco-friendly lifestyle 

5) healthy lifestyle and physical well-being.

Students have to present one of this future problem, how technology can help (AI, sensors, data), one benefit and one risk, a visual design of the app.

Students create simple mock-ups and explain how their app could help students to learn, encourage sustainable behaviour, develop social connections or well-being.

The activity highlights the positive role of technology in addressing environmental, social, educational challenges.

The final presentations allow students to share their projects and reflect on the impact of their solutions.
